Greek Minister of Labour, Social Security and Welfare at an Interparliamentary Committee meeting during the European Parliamentary Week –Presentation of priorities at the European Parliament (22-23.1.2014)

The Minister of Labour, Social Security and Welfare, Ioannis Vroutsis, will deliver a speech at the Interparliamentary Committee meeting, organized by the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs (EMPL) of the European Parliament on 22 January 2014, during the European Parliamentary Week on the European Semester Cycles 2013-2014.

The meeting will focus on tackling unemployment and the social consequences of the crisis and will address two topics: the Social Dimension of the EMU, and the Employment Aspects of the Annual Growth Survey (AGS), including the implementation of the Youth Guarantee, the reform of the pensions systems and the ESF.

The Minister of Labour, Social Security and Welfare will present the priorities of the Greek Presidency in the field of Employment and Social Cohesion, during the European Parliament EMPL Committee meeting, on 23 January 2014, in Brussels.
