The event includes the 66th Plenary Meeting of the Senior Labour Inspectors Committee (26th of May) and the Thematic Day (27th of May). SLIC is one of the formal permanent institutions of the European Commission. It is composed of the Commission and one representative of the labour inspection authority on occupational safety and health (OSH) of each member-state. It assembles for a meeting every six months in the member-state holding the EU Presidency. The Thematic Day of the 66th meeting in Athens focuses on the workers involvement in the management of OSH in small enterprises and its impact on the Labour Inspection activities.
