The Informal Meeting of Ministers for Transport will take place on Thursday, 8 May 2014, at Zappeion Megaron in the presence of the President of the Hellenic Republic, Karolos Papoulias. The meeting chaired by Greek Minister of Infrastructure, Transport & Networks, Michalis Chrisochoidis, will be attended by the Vice-President of the European Commission and Commissioner for Transport, Siim Kallas, EU Member States ministers and high-ranking officials as well as representatives of other European Associations. Discussions will focus on Current road safety challenges for smart infrastructure development and the report on the results of the European conference on Road Haulage Transport: harmonisation of European Social Policies.
