Greek Leadership Diabetes Forum

Friday, 11 April 2014

Amphitheatre of the Acropolis Museum, 15 Dionysiou Areopagitou St, Athens

The Conference aims at promoting diabetes as a national priority issue in Greece through the discussion of all issues pertinent to the prevention and treatment of diabetes. Improving diabetes care is an on-going process that will not be completed with a meeting alone. Ultimately, we aim at designing a roadmap which will allow us to effectively manage diabetes, taking into account its socio-economic percussions as well as its impact on public health. We assume this meeting as a kick off to a long process.

The working conference is organized by the National School of Public Health and the Greek Advisory Board for Diabetes Mellitus in the framework of the Greek Presidency. It is supported by the Hellenic Diabetes Association, the Hellenic Endocrine Society, the Hellenic Diabetes Federation and the Greek Federation of Diabetes Patient Groups.
