The Greek Presidency of the Council of the European Union, in cooperation with the European Parliament presents in Strasbourg, the sound sculpture "Tintinnabullum Europeanum", by the artist Eleni Fotiadou, an artwork that reflects common European values.

Tintinnabullum is inspired by the potential unifying role of the European Union through a common culture that now more than ever is strongly claimed. The artwork  responds to the classical law of physics that “Things synchronized in tone, resonate”.

With less than three months to go, the Greek presidency working tirelessly with its institutional partners, the European Parliament, the European Commission and all Member States, has brought about tangible results in our common quest for solutions benefitting citizens.

Over 50 agreements impacting and improving almost every aspect of European citizens’ daily life.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos made the following statement on behalf of the Hellenic Presidency of the Council of the European Union:

“The points agreed on in Geneva are an important first step toward de-escalating the situation and shaping the conditions for overcoming the crisis in Ukraine.

What is important now is the conscientious implementation of everything agreed upon, so that a climate of trust and a sense of security can be restored on all levels.”

The Greek Presidency has a lot on its plate

The Greek Presidency has decided to offer its guests Greek cuisine delicacies and acquaint them with Mediterranean living.
