Today the Permanent Representatives Committee approved the agreement reached with the European Parliament on the regulation on the statute and funding of European political parties and European political foundations on 25 February.

Starting at 11.00 (GMT+2) at Justus Lipsius building in Brussels, the Council of General Affairs will discuss the work programme proposed by the Greek presidency for the duration of its term of office.

It will then start preparations for the European Council meeting on 20-21 March and take note of a draft annotated agenda.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Venizelos to chair the 1st EU Intergovernmental Conference with Serbia (Brussels, 21 January 2014)

On Tuesday, 21 January, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos will chair the first meeting of the EU Intergovernmental Conference with Serbia. This meeting will mark the opening of Serbia’s negotiations for accession to the EU.
