Presentation of Greek Presidency priorities in the Audiovisual field at the European Parliament CULT Committee (Brussels, 21 January 2014)

The Deputy minister attached to the Prime Minister & Government Spokesperson responsible for Audiovisual Affairs (TV, radio, internet), Simos Kedikoglou, will present tomorrow, Tuesday 21 January, at the CULT Committee of the European Parliament, the relevant priorities of the Greek Presidency of the EU Council.

The Greek Presidency will work on the following issues:

Launch of EU Erasmus+ programme, Athens 16.01.2014

On Thursday, 16 January 2014, the new European Programme for education, training, youth and sport, ‘Erasmus+’, was launched at the Academy of Athens. The event was organized by the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs in the context of the Hellenic Presidency of the Council of the EU during the first half of 2014.
 
The Minister of Education, Prof. Konstantinos Arvanitopoulos addressed the event.

‘Horizon 2020’ programme launched in Athens

On Friday, 10 January 2014, the new European Programme for Research and Innovation ‘Horizon 2020’ was launched at the National Centre for Scientific Research ‘Demokritos’. The event was organized by the General Secretariat for Research and Technology in the context of the Greek Presidency of the Council of the EU during the first half of 2014.

Greek Presidency begins for the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs with the meeting of the High Level Group in Athens (12 – 13 December 2013)

A meeting of the High Level Group on Education and Training Policy, held in Athens on 12 - 13 December 2013, signaled the commencement of the Greek Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the first semester of 2014 for the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs (Y.PAI.TH.).
