After six months of intense work, 57 ministerial meetings and 67 political agreements (read the Greek Presidency Scoreboard here), the journey of the Greek Presidency reaches its end today and the website and twitter team feel the need to thank all the people behind the numbers: all of you who followed and read us, all of you who sent us your ideas, your comments and your wishes in the past months.

A number of issues critical to the European Union and the United States were discussed, such as data protection, migration, terrorism and judicial cooperation.
During today’s (25.06.2014) Coreper meeting, Ambassadors of the 28 EU Member States agreed on a General Approach on the European Long-Term Investment Funds (ELTIFs) Regulation. This agreement constitutes the negotiating mandate for the incoming Italian Presidency to conduct trilogues with the European Parliament.
